Alkagesta participated in the SAF Global Summit 2026 in London, highlighting sustainable aviation fuel as part of its biofuels and sustainable fuels strategy. In an account published by Alkagesta Media, the company linked its attendance to its trading certifications, access to carbon allowances and ability to deliver blended aviation fuel through European pipeline infrastructure.
According to the outlet, the two-day gathering brought together more than 1,000 senior executives from across the sustainable aviation fuel sector. Participants included policymakers, energy industry leaders, producers, investors, airlines and original equipment manufacturers. The programme centred on four areas: policy frameworks, investment, production expansion and supply chain logistics, and technological innovation. Alkagesta was represented by Business Development Manager Alex Yusifli and Operations Manager Alasgar Guliyev, who met industry participants during the event.
The company said it holds ISCC and CORSIA certification, which allows it to trade and supply CORSIA-eligible sustainable aviation fuel across multiple sustainability jurisdictions. Alkagesta Media also reported that the business had recently obtained access to EU ETS allowances. It presented that access as an addition to its existing sustainable aviation fuel and biofuels trading activities, intended to help it serve clients with a wider range of carbon compliance requirements.
A further development outlined in the account was Alkagesta’s access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System, known as CEPS, secured earlier in 2026. The company said this enables it to deliver jet fuel blended with sustainable aviation fuel directly to airlines. The account linked that capability to its expanding role in the aviation fuels market.
Alkagesta described the London summit as reinforcing the commercial significance of sustainable aviation fuel within its strategy. It also pointed to growing demand for certified supplies in European and global aviation markets, presenting its certifications, trading capabilities and pipeline access as complementary parts of its offering.
