Alkagesta has completed its first truck-to-vessel marine fuel delivery in Constanța, Romania, according to a report published by Alkagesta Media. The company said two trucks supplied a combined 50.164 metric tonnes of marine gasoil on 2 October 2026. The delivery adds another distribution method to its Romanian business, alongside its wider activities in petroleum products and biofuels in the country.

The company presented the operation as part of an expansion of its distribution capabilities in Romania and the Black Sea region. Alkagesta Media said Romania had become increasingly important to the group’s regional petroleum products and biofuels activities during 2026. The reported milestone concerns its first truck-to-vessel supply operation in Constanța, rather than the start of its broader business in the Romanian market.

The announcement also outlined developments elsewhere in its European energy operations. Earlier in 2026, Alkagesta obtained access to the NATO Central Europe Pipeline System and began delivering Jet A1 fuel to the European aviation market, the company outlet reported. It described aviation fuel supplies as under acute pressure at the time, with greater military use of the pipeline complicating distribution for civilian customers. During the same period, Alkagesta also undertook its first crude oil transactions, including delivery of approximately 1.07 million barrels to the Far East.

In biofuels, the company reported securing a multi-year storage agreement at Pantank in Antwerp, as well as a five-year offtake agreement for used cooking oil feedstock. Alkagesta Media linked those agreements to the development of its European biofuels business. Separately, it said the company’s Singapore hub reached monthly marine fuel trading volumes of approximately 250,000 metric tonnes during its first full year of operations. The update also described its fertiliser desk as operating amid substantial supply-chain disruption and food-security pressures in global agricultural markets.
